Introducing Gen Zero NFT badges!
We’re proud to introduce our earnable GZG NFT Badges. This is our first ever NFT release and a little different to a typical NFT collection. These NFTs wont be for sale and can’t be bought but rather you will need to earn them. They can be thought of as prestigious badges of honour to award those in our community who have shown long term commitment and support to Gen Zero Guild.
How do I earn a badge?
while we are finalising our designs, we can share that there will be a Gold, Silver and Bronze tier for our NFT badges. These badges are awarded to those guild members that have contributed to our community through helping others, creating content, sharing and engaging with our social media, organising events and being leaders in our guild. We have kept an eye out for these individuals who not only contributed during the bull market but were just as dedicated through the bear cycles without expecting anything in return.
These badges are very scarce. We may only award a handful of people and then not again for 12 months. Also note, if you hold a NFT badge, its not necessarily permanent and can become void in certain circumstances (ie leaving the guild, going against our rules, etc). The initial batch of NFT badges will be decided by the founders but eventually future ones will be collectively chosen by a council of badge holders.

When $GZG token?
We have been asked numerous times when we will launch our own $GZG governance token. Us founders had a few opportunities to raise VC capital for our guild token and launch $GZG which we contemplated for a while. In the end, we voted against this as the token would really benefit VCs and not our community members and sentiment on our guild would always revolve around how well $GZG price is doing and not how healthy our actual guild is. This does not mean we are ruling out a token in the future completely but we would need to see a solid and sustainable use case for it and make sure our loyal community are the ones who benefit the most.
